It has been revealed that Christine Holgate, CEO of Australia Post, threatened to call police if the City of Melbourne did not deliver One Nation merchandise to every apartment in a public housing tower that was in lockdown in July.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has openly disagreed with Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk’s decision to keep the border between the states shut.
“I’ve always been very vocal in saying borders shouldn’t be up unless they absolutely have to be,” Berejiklian said.
NSW has recorded seven new cases, bringing the total number to 3,953.
India
India has seen over 90,000 cases daily with active cases reaching 4.3 million this week. India surpassed Brazil’s total on Monday to become the country with the second-highest confirmed COVID-19 cases in the world. However, health officials believe the active case numbers are much higher due to the density of the cities.
The state of Maharashtra has been hit the worst by the virus and officials have been unable to contain the spread. There is also growing concern in the country that many health officials have been falling ill from the virus putting pressure on the already underfunded healthcare system.
The death toll in the country has reached 72,000.
United States of America
America has recorded 6,549,4765 cases and 196,239 death. There has been an average of 36,704 daily cases over the past week, a 13 percent decrease from two weeks earlier.
United States President Donald Trump admits to downplaying the severity of COVID-19 to avoid panic in the early stages of the pandemic, according to a new book by journalist Bob Woodward.
Trump says he knew how dangerous COVID-19 was despite telling the nation that it was no worse than a seasonal flu, and that containing people’s panic was more important than the virus itself.
“If you said in order to reduce panic, perhaps that’s so,” he said.“ We had to show calm.”
Many have criticised Trump for a lack of honesty, including his political opponent Joe Biden. “He knew and purposely played it down, [he] failed to do this job on purpose,” he said.
United Kingdom
The UK has recorded more than 355,219 confirmed cases and more than 40,000 deaths.
There has been an average of 41,594 daily cases over the past two weeks, with Britain recording it’s highest daily cases since May with 2,988 new infections.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson suggests imposing new COVID-19 restrictions as they face the threat of a second wave.
