I May Destroy You, Binge.
After waiting months for the comedy-drama series to drop, Aussie can finally watch I May Destroy You on Binge. Set in London, the 12-part series tells the tale of Arabella, a woman who’s seeking to rebuild her life after being sexually assaulted. Dealing with themes of youth culture, friendship, consent and race all mixed with humour, you’ll want to binge this one. Check out the trailer here.

Are you a fan of superhero shows? Like Marvel and DC? Then this one might be for you. The American superhero TV series is based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It follows a group of vigilantes who take down corrupt super-powered individuals who abuse their abilities. Find out more here.
I’m thinking of ending things, Netflix.
Based on the 2016 novel by Lain Reid, this psychological thriller is one you’ll enjoy getting wrapped up in. It tells the unusual story of a young woman who is contemplating ending her short relationship with her boyfriend. Monsters University, Friday the 11th of September.
Who didn’t love the 2001 classic Monsters Inc? In the second film and prequel, the animated comedy follows younger versions of Mike and Sulley who just started university. Starting as rivals, the two unlikely friends must team up to defeat other scary students in a tournament to save their spots in the scare program. It’s on 7Flix at 6:30pm tonight. Geelong Cats vs Richmond Tigers, Friday the 11th of September.
In what could be the biggest match of the season, the mighty Cats will face off against the 2019 premiers Tigers tonight at Metricon Stadium. Both contenders are juggling for a position inside the top four but who will take home the win? All the action starts at 7:30pm on Channel Seven.
Hidden Figures, Friday the 11th of September.
This 2016 biographical drama is a powerful movie you need to see at least once in your lifetime. Award-winning actress, Taraji P. Henson stars in the movie as Katherine Johnson, a mathematician who works for NASA to calculate flight trajectories in 1961. Top Gun, Saturday the 12th of September.
Who doesn’t love this 1986 classic action film with a young Tom Cruise? The movie tells the story of a hotshot fighter pilot, Maverick (Tom Cruise), who is sent to the Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School. Along with competing to be the top fighter pilot, Maverick also fights for the attention of his instructor, Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis). GWS vs Melbourne, Saturday the 12th of September.
It’ll be a battle for a spot in the finals when the Giants and the Demons go head to head at the Gabba this Saturday. The Demons can’t afford another loss if they want to make finals while the Giants will need to win to hold their eighth spot. Kick-off is at 7:30pm on Channel Seven.
Bride Wars, Saturday the 12th of September.
In need of a romantic comedy to watch this weekend? Look no further because channel nine has you sorted with Bride Wars. Starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway, it follows the story of two childhood best friends obsessed with everything wedding related. But because of a scheduling mistake, both their weddings end up on the same day which causes a flow-on of issues. Check it out at 7:30pm on channel nine. You can watch the trailer here.
Battleship, Saturday the 12th of September.
Need some action to fill your weekend? Then the 2012 military, sci-fi film Battleship can help you there. With an all-star line up of Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Rihanna and Liam Nelson it’s one hell of a battle. In what was meant to be a training exercise, a crew of small warships are forced to battle against a fleet of alien battleships in order to free themselves and their island. It’s on 9Go at 9:10pm and you can watch the trailer here.
All New Monty: Guys and Gals, Sunday the 13th of September.
That’s right The Full Monty is back again, this time with both guys and gals. Reprising their roles, Shane Jacobson, Georgie Parker and Todd McKenney will host the 3-part series where two will perform the full Monty to raise awareness for cancer. It all starts this Sunday at 7pm on Channel 7.
Footloose, Sunday the 13th of September.
In need of another classic movie night? The classic 1984 American musical directed by Herbert Ross can help you there. It follows the life of Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon), a teenager from Chicago who moves to a small western town to live with his aunt and uncle. In a town stuck in the past, McCormack spends the film trying to overturn the ban on dancing. Footloose airs at 7:30pm on 7Flix this Sunday. Check out the trailer here.
