It’s with great pleasure that we congratulate La Trobe journalism lecturer and upstart executive editor Steinar Ellingsen on picking up his second award at the annual LA Web Series festival.
When we allowed Steinar to take a week off to travel the 13,000-kilometre trip to the US, we were hoping for something in return. And he hasn’t disappointed us.
Steinar’s now dual-award winning documentary, The Inland Sea, picked up a Outstanding Achievement producing award in the category of “Travel, Talk and Lifestyle”.
The Inland Sea is a documentary web series chronicling a ten-week odyssey in Australia. Steinar has written, produced and directed it.
He is currently completing the documentary as part of his PhD thesis at La Trobe University. You can check out what’s up online so far of the doco here.
