Northern Football League seeks media volunteers

Interested in a developing your skils as a sport journalist? Melbourne's Northern Football League are seeking media volunteers to help provide content for their website and weekly NFL record during the 2010 season.

Are you looking to get into the exciting world of sports journalism? Do you fancy yourself as the next Mike Sheehan or Caroline Wilson? If so, then Melbourne’s Northern Football League wants to hear from you.

The NFL are currently seeking media volunteers to help out with providing content for the NFL website and weekly NFL Record during the 2010 season. We are looking for football and netball match reporters to join our team for the upcoming seasons.

The NFL media team consists of many volunteers who participate each week in providing the league with extensive media coverage.

The opportunity is there for those looking to forge a career in sports media, or who simply have a love of local footy and netball, and want to experience having their work published for a wide variety of readers.

The Northern Football League chairman Ron Bongetti will be one of the speakers at a panel sesion about community media at the Sport Journalism Symposium which is to be held at La Trobe University on April 8.
