The Australian girlfriend of the Las Vegas gunman is being considered a person of interest by American police.
62 year old Australian citizen, Marylou Danley was on holiday in the Philippines during the ‘deadliest mass shooting in modern US history’ and will be interviewed by police when she returns to the United States.
Danley’s boyfriend, Stephen Paddock killed 59 people and injured 527 more in a 10 to 15 minute shooting spree from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort.
Paddock targeted thousands of partygoers at the Route 31 Harvest festival. The three day country music festival saw thousands of people converge onto Las Vegas.
Country singer Jason Aldean was the last act on Sunday and stopped playing after hearing gunshots.

Police rushed to the scene, closing the 29th to 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort, only to find Paddock had committed suicide.
A handgun and at least 17 rifles were found in Paddock’s hotel room. He was using multiple guns at the time of the shooting.
Concertgoers posted videos of the attack on social media.
US President Donald Trump labelled the shooting “an act of pure evil” and praised Las Vegas Police for their response time.
