The Shepparton News – a regional daily newspaper and part of the McPherson Media Group – is advertising for a cadet journalist to work full-time in Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley region.

Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to network quickly and be able to work to deadline.

As well as being able to generate own story ideas, the successful candidate must have a valid driver’s licence and be able to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.
