A new poll has showed US President and Democratic candidate Barack Obama is leading by 11 percentage points among likely voters in nine battleground states.
This comes off the back of Republican candidate Mitt Romney’s attack on Obama, saying he’s weak on foreign policy, ahead of Wednesday’s first presidential debate.
But what effect will the debate have on the result of election? Can it influence the states where the election will be won?
