Crocodile proteins may treat fungal infections

The proteins were engineered with biotechnology.

In this segment of La Trobe Live, @latrobe Media and Communication students Paris Mahar, Luke Corda, and Katelin Cameron talk to Scott Williams, the lead author of a La Trobe study that found crocodile defensins proteins could be engineered through biotechnology to attack fungal infections in humans. We also speak to Golden 8 Skincare CEO, Josephine Shepherd, who uses crocodile oil in their products to help different skin conditions.
