Australia’s National News Agency is looking for an Editorial/ Video Production Assistant to join the Editorial team based in Melbourne.

The role involves basic editing, re-packaging and publishing of video content to the relevant AAP website and ensuring that daily production objectives are met. You will also provide administration support and assistance to the Editorial department as required. The successful candidate will report to the Multi-Media Editor based in Sydney.

AAP says that they are looking for a candidate who is ‘highly organised, has a keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills’.

The successful applicant should be experienced in Final-Cut Pro, have excellent Photoshop skills and a strong interest in new media. Experience with digital video camera equipment is preferable.

This position may require shift and weekend work.
