Fairfax Community Network is on the hunt for a journalist with a passion for Melbourne news.

The application calls for a journalist that is enthusiastic about their local community and knowledgeable about what is happening in Melbourne’s suburbs. The successful applicant will join a team of news journalists and will work across a range of publications and gloss magazines, including the Melbourne Times.  The position is based at Fairfax’s Media House in the city’s CBD.

Job responsibilities include, generating stories, news reporting, and feature writing.  Applicants must also exhibit proven news-writing ability and organisational skills.
