Meet the Managing Editor of Junkee

Join a conversation with Steph Harmon, Managing Editor of Junkee, tomorrow at La Trobe University.

Junkee Managing Editor Steph Harmon will be visiting La Trobe University tomorrow.

Lawrie Zion will be talking to Harmon at a free event presented by the Department of Communication and Media in association with the Journalism, Media, Arts & Communications Society (JMAC).

Junkee is Australia’s newest pop culture title, covering film, TV, politics, comment, tech, online and everything in between. Junkee prides itself on not jumping on bandwagons and not producing click-bait articles; they claim they “don’t add to the noise or bitch for the sake of it”.

As well as being the force behind Junkee, Harmon has contributed to The Guardian, Time Out, The Vine, Beat Magazine and The Music Network.

The free event is being chaired by JMAC President Lindsey Martin. It will be held in the Martin Building Lecture Theatre, Room 141 at 1pm and is open to anyone who is interested.
