Today our Advanced Journalism Practice class welcomes La Trobe graduate and Herald Sun journalist Paul Tatnell as guest lecturer.
Paul graduated in 2004 and worked for the Mosman Daily and The Sydney Morning Herald before returning to Melbourne at the start of 2011 to take up his current role.
Paul recently completed a several month-long stint as the paper’s chief-of-staff. As one of the paper’s senior general news reporters, his reporting brief is varied.
In the class, Paul will share his perspectives about getting started in journalism, and what makes a good story even better.
Today’s lecture will be held at 1 in room 302 of the Social Sciences building. All students welcome.
