US rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ homes have been raided by federal agents as part of an ongoing sex-trafficking investigation.
The Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents have searched Combs’ properties in Los Angeles, Miami and New York on Monday.
According to NBC news, three women and a man have also been interviewed by federal officials in connection to allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault and the distribution of illegal narcotics.
The officials were not authorised to publicly discuss the details of the investigation and spoke to The Associated Press under the condition of anonymity. It is not revealed whether Combs was the target of the investigation.
“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation…we will provide further information as it becomes available,” the Department of HSI said in a statement.
Several sexual assault lawsuits have been filed against Combs since November last year, but the musician has denied all the allegations against him.
Two women accused Combs of sexual abuse one week after he settled a lawsuit with singer Cassandra Ventura, commonly known as Cassie, that involved allegations of rape and physical abuse.
Combs’ attorney, Shawn Holley did not respond to requests for a comment.
