This 2010 action thriller is bound to cure your Friday night boredom. The hit movie follows CIA Agent Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) whose life changes dramatically when she’s accused of planning the assassination of the Russian president. You can check it out at 8:30pm on 7Flix.
Jurassic World, Saturday 8th of August.
Are you a Jurassic Park fan? Or love a good action and adventure movie? Then you’ll want to watch the fourth film in the Jurassic series, Jurassic World. This time, genetically-engineered dinosaurs turn the tourism park into a murderous nightmare when one escapes. Starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the movie starts at 8:45pm on 9Go.
Brisbane Lions vs Western Bulldogs, Saturday 8th of August.
In the potential game of the round, the Lions and the Bulldogs will face off at the Gabba on Saturday night. To secure a spot in the top eight the Bulldogs will need to work hard to beat the Lions, who are currently 3rd on the ladder. Kick-off is at 7:30pm on Channel 7.
The Dressmaker, Sunday 9th of August.
This 2015 classic made in Australia, is a comedy-drama film based on the 2000 novel by Rosalie Ham. The film follows a dressmaker, who after being accused of murder as a child, comes back to her Australian hometown for revenge on the locals who did wrong by her. Starring Kate Winslet and Australia’s own, Liam Hemsworth, this gripping movie is worth a watch. Watch the trailer here or catch it on 7Flix at 8:30pm on Sunday.
