Semester one is almost over, meaning members of the upstart editorial team will soon head the separate ways. But the footy tipping competition isn’t going anywhere and things are certainly starting to heat up at the top of the leader board.

Jessica Buccolieri is desperately clinging onto her one-tip lead. However she hasn’t been able to sleep in recent weeks, because sports editors Khairun Hamid and Ben Waterworth are tailgating her. Ben is still sitting one tip behind Jess in second spot, while Khairun is two tips behind off the lead in third.

In an ordinary weekend for tipsters overall, Suzannah Marshall Macbeth rose above the rest last round, tipping six correct winners. However she’s still eight tips away from first place. You never know though.
