On 8 June the 14th European football championship will be kicking off. In the lead up to the tournament, upstart will preview all the final teams, and we’ll be following all the action in Poland and Ukraine, with regular updates.
This page will be our one-stop-shop for all our EURO 2012 coverage, led by our own ‘gang of four’: Shane Palmer, Jake D’Amato, Tom Midwood and Tom Morris.
Co-hosts Poland have been handed one of the easier groups, and will strongly contest 2004 champions Greece, the Czech Republic and Russia to progress to the quarter finals.
Group B, the Group of Death, sees three-time winners Germany pitted against the Netherlands, Denmark and Portugal.
Group C sees reigning champions Spain play Italy, Croatia and the Republic of Ireland, and will be a tough test for Vincent del Bosque’s men to retain their trophy.
Group D will see co-hosts Ukraine against Sweden, France and England, in what promises to be a fantastic and dramatic group.
