Blogging and publishing online training

The Walkley Foundation for Journalism is running a one-day course on blogging and publishing online in Melbourne.
This one-day course on blogging and publishing Online will give you the practical skills required to create a personal online presence and confidently publish text, photos and multimedia. It provides an understanding of the tools available and shows how to link blogging and social media platforms. You will learn how to set up your own blog; publish text, images and simple multimedia online; understand the role of blogging in journalism; write effective and engaging blog posts that encourage interactivity; and adapt and modify your blog using widgets, themes and add-ons.
Trainer: Michelle Rose is Online Editor for the Leader Newspapers group. She teaches online journalism at RMIT University.
