Wheelchair users struggle with inaccessible tram stops

Despite the government's 2022 deadline, many tram stops across Melbourne, including some close to La Trobe University, still fall short of accessibility standards.

While La Trobe University’s closest tram stop is what’s known as a ‘super stop’ with several safety and accessibility features, many more on the 86 line fall short of accessibility standards. But what’s being done about it? And what’s causing the delay?
